GOLD PLATED OVER 925 SILVER
All gold-plated Sancta jewellery features a layer of solid gold applied over 925 sterling silver. Since pure silver is too soft for everyday wear, sterling silver was developed as a more durable option. It’s an alloy made up of 92.5% pure silver and 7.5% copper.
While the exact composition of Swarovski crystals remains a well-kept secret, what’s known is that their precise cutting and expert polishing give them an unmatched brilliance. It is for this reason that they are so remarkably sparkly.
Freshwater pearls, known for their ethereal organic forms, are cultivated in freshwater lakes using mussels. Therefore, each and every one is unique and may vary slightly from piece to piece. All Sancta pearls are authentic freshwater pearls and are ethically sourced and cruelty free.
Much of Sancta jewellery features a curated selection of semi-precious gemstones, designed to enhance your ethereal beauty and cultivate academic aesthetics. These natural stones—such as amethyst, quartz, and aquamarine—are ethically sourced and conflict-free, ensuring that each piece not only looks meaningful but is meaningful.
Most Sancta jewellery is gold-filled, which consists of a solid layer of 14k gold permanently bonded to brass. Gold-filled means the minimum layer of gold must equal at least 1/20th of the weight of the total item. The gold being bonded to the base metal means it will not flake or tarnish and is therefore commonly used as an economical alternative to solid gold.
